User sub-folders in IIS; OR re-direction based on username

I have an internal website hosted on IIS6 which each user has their own sub-directory, and I use integrated authentication to manage control. Presntly I just have a launch page with html links to each users folder, and I use NTFS permissions to control access to each folder.

I am trying to get it so when a user logs in they are immediately dropped into their own folder, rather than having to click on their name. I need to configure some conditional forward based on username.

I found documentation that IIS FTP will automatically redirect a user to their home directory if there is a virtual directory of the users name. I tried this for normal web publishing, and it did not work. Basically though, this is exactly what I am attempting to accomplish.

Are you trying to get FTP to do this or just IIS when accessing the default web site in a browser?

That worked perfectly, many thanks!

To clarify for the previous expert, I was trying to get IIS to redirect to home folders, not FTP. It is the default behavior for MS FTP, as I understand it. I was trying to replicate that in IIS over HTTP(S).
