Hello everyone, Ive setup an ASP.net Web Site (Virtual Directory on the Default Web Site) on a windows 2003 server with IIS 6. The server functions as a secondary domain controller and has DNS installed.
Im trying to setup security for the ASP site so only domain users can access.
In the ASP site in the Directory Security Tab , authentication and access control section,
Ive disabled anonymus access, Ive checked the Intregrated Windows authentication and I have set the default domain
When I try to access the site, it asks for credentials, how can I set it up, so it could be automatic? So the site recognices the log on user without asking for credentials?

Also, keep in mind that Server 2003 and later will run IE in Enhanced Security Configuration mode which will *always* prompt for credentials no matter what the securioty zone settings.
Have you tried accessing this from an actual client machine?
What URL are you using to hit the site and what zone does the client say the site is in?

It sounds like your site/server is setup correctly, I suspect it's more of a client issue.
Check the security settings in IE to see how it handles automatic logon. In IE8 it will only do this for sites in the Intranet zone.
