DFS between 2 forests with IIS

Hello

We have 2 forests and in one forest there is a website which we'd like to have mirrored between the other forest.  The sites run on IIS.

Up until a change recently in the infrastructure there was 1 forest and the sites replicated seamlessly.

Various articles suggest this functionality is not available between 2 forests using DFS as it was before.

At this stage I'm either looking for ideas to change the way the sites are replicated or to come up with some other plan.

NB the sites need to be replicated for availability reasons.
