Currently failing the PCI security scan.
Solution is to SetHosrName. How do backup the metadata then use SetHostName with out interrupting Outlook Web Mail services?

1. generally, you do not need to backup your system to update setHostname - depends on how cautious you want to be. I have never had a problem doing this on a prunning system, but that doesn't mean that you won't have a problem either ;-)
2. you probably can use a dummy hostname, but why would you want to do that? better to set it as the correct hostname for the application or system.

it is no great drama to put a real hostname in there - there is only an information disclosure when no hostname value is specified in the request header. All that you need to do is make sure that it does not reply with the internal IP address. Probably the best value to put there would be the public IP address that the server is mapped to.
if the server has a public address anyway, then it is not really any information disclosure at all! ;-)

Can I make up a host name, then run SetHostName to assign that fictitious name? So when the PCI security scan is run, it reports back the fictitious host name rather then the IP address of the server.
Or does the Host Name need to be a FQDN?
