I have set the Network Directory as "A share on another computer".
Connect as is set to:
"Always use the authenticated user's credentials when validating access to the network directory"
I have tried to set the permission on the other server but cannot seem to get the authentication correct. I either get 401.1 or 500.

Hi,
make sure that the credentials specified in 'connect as' dialog are valid on both remote *and* local systems.
Cheers.
