SharePoint 2010 Failing on port 80

I cannot get SharePoint 2010 to work right out of the box. I have tried it both original and with SP1 and get the same result. All of the background and image captures are in the attached Word doc. It's making me crazy :-( Any ideas?

Hi Sushil84,

Thanks for getting back to me. I ran a netstat -b -a | find ":80" on the server and this is what I got back:

TCP      0.0.0.0:80              Shuttle1:0           LISTENING
TCP      [::]:80                     Shuttle1:0           LISTENING

Folks, thanks for the feedback and recommendations but alas the problem persists. Have decided to rebuild the server and see if that doesn't help. If not, as Arnold Schwatzenegger said; "I'll be back". :-)
