Today there are many web servers which are used for the purpose of letting user download their files from server.
I want to know about some info about those servers
1) How to check which OS, web server software they are using?
2) How they can maintain IP log connections of their users and how can i fool those servers and still able to download files from web server?
3) What software they use so that their downloading doesn't support resume and what’s the benefit of that?
4) How can some servers generate dynamic links when i try to download? Is that really dynamic or it can be static links such that every time i try to download file i will get same download link?

1) is there any legal software that does fingerprinting
3) what i wan to ask what servers uses so that if i download a file through download accelerator plus some file support resume and some not and if file does not support resume and its big size its very difflicult to download file.
4) so when i ask server to allow me to download file say rapidshare/megaupload then they generate links dynamically is that calls URL rewriting whats benefit of that?

1) fingerprinting the web server (take care: may be illegal in some countries)
2) IP is the thing communication depends on, hence it can be logged all the time without notice to the client, and you as client cannot do anything to fool it (except using a proxy)
3) don't understand that
4) various methods, most likely a application which uses URL rewriting
