Currently we have this authentication running on Apache using the modauthldap module, and would like to know if there is a way to implement this on the IIS 6 system.
Any info regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
We are using a SunOne LDAP server.
The MS servers are not part of an Active Directory.
Authentication needs to be daone against the LDAP server.
The Moodle docs configuratin appears to require your machines to be part of an AD. (as below)

Assumptions (http://docs.moodle.org/en
1) you are running a MS Active Directory for Authentication.
2) The Server hosting your website is a member of the Active Directory Domain that your users are also members of.

What LDAP directory do you use? Some LDAP servers come with an ISAPI plug-in for IIS that you can use (e.g. Novell's eDirectory, OpenLDAP).
If you use Active Directory you don't need to use LDAP, but instead you use something called NTLM and Integrated Windows Authentication.
