Change time zone in Apache (Windows) ???

Hi Expert,

I have apache 2 on Windows and I need to change the system's time ZONE.

Please advice !

depending on your current system time set a proper TZ environment variable in your apache's startup script, something like:

set TZ=GMT+1
c:\programme\apache2\httpd.exe

hmm, don't know anything about windoze, but there should be a startup script somewhere, probably named apache.bat or httpd.bat, in there set the TZ environment variable as suggested before the final call to httpd.exe

You can try going to Control Panel -> System -> Environment Variables and setting a variable called TZ to GMT+1 or whatever..  

You can also edit your httpd.conf file in c:\program files\apache2\conf\httpd.conf and add
SetEnv TZ GMT+1
or whatever..

If you start apache from dos you can first run the command 'SET TZ=GMT+1'

If you can't get it to work you can always change your main windows clock..  even better would be to switch to linux/unix/bsd/debian
