I'm attempting to set up multiple websites for a company on a Windows 2003 server. In the attempts to secure it a bit better, I have set it up outside of the normal directory structure (c:\inetpub\wwwroot) and placed it on a secondary partition with a different path (say for example f:\sample\website). I believe the proper rights have been set up to access the page.
With this setup, I've set the host header, and the default page information, and cannot reach the site. When I browse to the site using windows explorer and open it up, the site works like clockwork.
What am I doing wrong? This is the first site on the machine, and I'm not going to migrate any others until this one works.
