Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Hello gang, I am a novice when it comes to server settings, I don't run my server, like most folks I just pay for space; I say that to preface that this may be a simple question. I am editing a .php page and when I make a mistake in my code the browser won't show me what line the mistake is on. On an old machine I had it would say something like "error on line 27 near 'insert'"... or something along that line. I have Googled around trying to figure out how to make IE show the errors, so far I have turned off "Show friendly HTTP error messages" and I have looked in the etc directory on the server, but I can't find a php.ini file. My ultimate goal is just to know what line the errors are on because trouble shooting code blindly take forever. Any direction is appreciated.
