The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server
In mod_proxy application some times i am getting the proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server error page , what are the causes for proxy server error.

hi Rohit,
The error could be caused by many things. Generally, if the upstream proxy does not like the request that was forwarded (client --> your proxy --> upstream), by your proxy to the upstream, then there response code (from the upstream) may give some clue on what could be the possibilities.
Is this error persistent for a specific URL, or is is intermittent. ?
If you bypass your proxy, and connect direct to the upstream? are you getting this error?
What is the error code?
Your proxy server software/version, and upstream proxy server/version? if this is not too confidential.
