I run into this a lot.

The best solution I have found is to recreate the Virtual IIS Directories.

Here is a great follow-along guide to doing this:

Double-check your Permissions as well.

Go to IIS Manager > Web Sites > Default Web Site.

Right-Click Exeadmin. Select Properties and then Directory Security. Click Edit... under IP address and domain name restrictions. Make sure the 'Exception Box' is empty, and Granted Access is checked.

Repeat for Echange, Exchweb, Public, and Oma.

I missed a bit of troubleshooting that I should have done before jumping to my answer!

What webpage are you trying to access? If you are talking about accessing email and internal desktops externally, then my answer is probably correct.

Also, is this a new issue, or have you never been able to access it? If you haven't ever been able to, then 'fosiul01' probably is cloer to your actual issue than I am.

I am trying to access the default webpage index.htm   I can right click on Default website in iis manager and select browse and it works ok. also browsing localhost works.  When I try from my PCs browser it will not work.  Firewall allows traffic through.

Check the properties in IIS to make sure that it is accepting the name that you are inputting.

Go to IIS, find the web site, right click and go to properties.

On the first tab (Web SIte), the web site identification area will show an advanced button.
You must ensure that the port you are using (likely 80 and likely will work), is active.
Then you have to make sure that you have the url defined in the Host Header Value area.
Simply click ADD -> Select IP address(if this is the only web site on this server then, all unassigned should work) -> TCP Port (as stated above - this is likely 80)->Host Header Value - this will be what you are typing into your browser; ie: www.abc123.com.
Also, ensure that your external DNS entries are pointing to the IP address that is assigned to this server.

Good Luck.
