IIS 6 Create a Website based on IP and Port
Hi All,
Is this possible...
I am running Windows Server 2008 Standard with IIS 6 SP 2 and it currently has several websites configured within it.
What I want to do is set a test website without having to configure a domain name. Is it possible to use the IP address of a current site and just change the port?
If this is possible could you provide instructions on how to setup this site as I am an IIS novice?
Many thanks,
Rit

What happens if I don't have a domain for this site as it is purely for testing and may even be temporary so no domain name will be required.
Thanks,
