Asked by MaryJosie in ColdFusion Application Server, Miscellaneous Web Development, Web Servers
Today we ran a coldfusion script (i.e. web page that was just script) in which we looped through sending emails to employee and then loop through their managers with a list of the manager's direct reports to send to managers.
For some reason when we kicked off the script (i.e. called the web page w/ script) it started to sending out multiple emails to employees and managers. Looking at the web server log, the page was "refreshing" or "requested" every 10 mins as if the script was to be run again.
Why would Coldfusion (version 7) do this? Is there an issue with emailing and coldfusion? Was it too much for the script to execute and so it re-executed the script?
Help!!
