VLC and streaming Playlist

Hello,

I am using vlc player, and i figured out how to stream flv movies off a server and it works great.  I create a playlist and save it.  

So here is my question.    I am using two or three different computers to stream the same playlist (same videos off the server).  Instead of updating the playlist on each computer when i add a video.. is there a way to have the playlist sit on the server and then the vlc player on each computer call the playlist... like through http://www.whatever.com/playlist.xspf???
