How to install Backup Exec SQL remote agent

We have a Windows XP SP2 machine that has a Microsoft SQL Server Express running on it. We also have a Windows Server 2003 with Symantec Backup Exec 12 for Windows. With my lack of knowledge in this area, I pushed-installed a regular remote agent onto the XP machine. The last 2 backups failed with the following info:

Job ended: Friday, May 16, 2008 at 6:21:44 AM
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000846b - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Make sure that the correct version of the Remote Agent is installed and running on the target computer.
Final error category: Resource Errors

After doing some research I have come to the conclusion that I need to install a SQL Remote Agent, but I have no idea how to install it. I don't even see the option in Backup Exec 12 to push a "SQL Remote Agent".
