This is what I ended up going with. It is a compression class that can be imported into Visual Studio and used with C#.

Browse All TopicsI'm building an application with C# and need it to be able to unzip files that it is downloading. I need a free zip utility that has a command line interface that I can utilize from within the C# application. So far I've found 7zip, which has a command line interface and seems to work fine when executing commands manually at the shell, but when I have C# execute the commands, 7zip does not seem able to decompress the .zip file properly. I need to try a different .zip utility with a command line interface to test this theory. The theory being that the problem lies with the zip utility and not with my coding logic.
