I am looking for some good diagnostic software for a project at the office. The goal is to have several freeware programs, that can run under Windows for various diagnostic purposes. I need items such as a memory test utility, hard disk test utility, graphics test utility, etc.
Looking for 10 freeware programs, that can be run from thumb drive or network share without the need to install on local system.
Bounty List:
2 types of memory testing / stress testing
2 types of CPU testing / stress testing
2 types of Graphics testing / 2D / 3D
2 types of Hard Disk testing (something with speed and/or back sectors)
1 type of optical drive test
1 type of utility that will spit out the full system specs - mem, cpu, motherboard, hdd, optical, sound, chipset, etc.
Rather than posting lots of questions - I will split the points to all the answers - about 50 pts. per freeware program recommendation.
Looking for people that have used them and can give me their two cents - even I could do a quick Google search - but don't want to sit down and weed out the good from the bad.
Thanks,
Andrew
