This system is running extremely slow, so much so even the windows default, log on and log off sounds are distorted but they still play. After running PC Check I get a Failure notification for two things Clock Synchronicity and CMOS RAM. I tried flashing the bios with no change. I tried shorting the battery that is soldered to the main board, still no change. I do not even know if I could purchase a new battery, but if I could, my question is, how can I be sure that these errors are the result of a defective battery or RTC alone?
