mass storage device drivers

i have a mass storage device
i thing it is of segate (most probably)
it has 80GB space
i have an HP laptop (media center edition)
when i plug the USB in it ,it eorks fine
but when i use my PC it shows that "a problem occuring during installation this device may not be working properly "
it shows that drivers r not installed for this device
& i lost the drivers CD
how can i make it work
