Audio Device on high definition Audio Bus driver for HP 2510p
Hi,

I've recently purchased a HP 2510p laptop. The laptop came with Windows Vista, but since my company has not standardized on Vista yet, i've had to format and re install XP on it.
After installing XP Pro w/SP2, I downloaded and installed ALL XP drivers from the HP website for the 2510p - The chipset, BIOS, Storage, Video, Network, Audio drivers etc.

I'm not able to get sound on the laptop. Although I've installed the only driver that was there under "Audio", which was a "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) Bus Driver for High Definition Audio (sp33867) " driver and was a 54.3MB download, my device manager still shows a yellow question/exclamaition mark next to a "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus". There are two other items on the list with the yellow question/exclamation mark with the description "Unknown Device"

Anyone have any ideas how i can proceed from here on end?

Best Regards,
CV

Don't uninstall the earlier driver. You need both, and the UAA needs to be installed first.
