Windows 7 and My Comapq laptop Coprocessor Driver

I have compaq presario v3611au with:

AMD 64 Athlon X2

i see in my driver coprocessor under other Devices and i am confused what exactly it is: it is 2nd processor driver details or what

i wanna know:

when i clik to see the details of the coprocessor i get this:
 
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
 
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.

Actually, might need to find out what that Unknown Device is.... Any chance your Display Adapter is listed as a Standard VGA adapter?

Go to the unknown device in the device manager>Rt click>Properties.....

Go to the Details Tab, and you will see a drop down at the top, it should be on Hardware ID (XP, might be a tad off on the verbage)

Press control+C to copy it....

Looks somthing like the following....

PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9581&SUBSYS_30C5103C&REV_00\4&171B8011&0&0008

Go to http://www.pcidatabase.com, and enter "9581" (no qoutes) into the Device Search box, and hit enter.

When you see results, if there are multiple ones, use the Vendor ID (1002 in the above example) to narrow it down further....

Change the values in the example to match your own Instance ID string.....

Now that you have identified the device, you can get the right drivers. Might resolve the Coprocessor as well, if it is your video card possibly.....

Ok with the link the co-processor problem solved but the unknownDevice problem still pesists.

i again checked the hardware ids of the unknown device and it is:

ACPI\HPQ0006
*HPQ0006

Use the pull-down on that Unknown Device Property page to get the Device Instance ID (this would typically have VEN_ and DEV_ parts) .   Those IDs are more helpful in identifying the device.

hey buddy...i think u need to get the vista drivers for your Ricoh 5-in-1 Card Reader Host Controller..I am not sure if the vista drivers for your card reader would work on windows 7..but u can try or u can even use the compatibility Mode and see if u might be lucky....I have seen that error in device manager before and I think it's your Card reader driver that needs to be installed for it to go away...
