Browse All TopicsI am in need of drivers for my SM BUS Controller and for the Video Controller. No help from the MFG. AVERATEC Laptop 7100 Series with AMD Turion 64X2 Dual Core Mobile Processor. nVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 graphics. (no help here either) Using XP Home Edition sp3. (Machine originally came with XP Media Center Edition.) Original HD crashed and I replace recently with SATA 250GB WD Scorpio Blue 5400 rpm HD.
The current default drivers cause the screens to scroll slowly and to display in wave-like patterns.
No Original program disks were provided at purchase of Laptop. All programs were only on original hard drive. Cannot recover them.
I see that someone else had a similiar problem, but I am not sure that the same drivers will work.
I did down load them awaiting your input. However, they come in a bz2 zip format which I cannot open.

7zip handles the bz2 zip format I believe from http://www.7-zip.org/7z.ht
