Asked by edwardq in Windows 7, Drivers
We are looking to deploy windows 7 both x86 and x64. HP currently does not have any win 7 drivers for download, They state that they are part of the win7 package.. Problem is that all our printers are on a win2003 print server.
So currently I am installing the printer port locally and getting the driver. Then I install the printer via the printer server and it keeps telling me that there is no driver that is avaiable on the print server. But I I install that printer locally it ask me if I want to overwrite the driver that is already installed.
Q: So where does windows put the drivers that It installs? Can I move the drivers so I can easly copy to a new win 7 so I dont have to install each of the printers on each win 7 computer.
