Installing XP prof on a vista tablet lenovo x61

Hi there
I have IBM Lenovo tablet x61 which came with vista OS. I tried to install XP prof on it but could not. I booted in DOS and deleted all partitions from the HD, now when I put the XP prof CD in and try to install XP Prof, it says 'NO hard disk drives available' Help please!!. I have checked BIOS and everything else seems fine.
I really need to install XP on this tablet.
