2003 server - the volume you have selected may not be extended

I´ve been informed from a different post inhere, that you can extend the C: partition by using diskpart. The C: partition is 8 gb - and I have there is 26gb unallocated space available.

So - as I used diskpart and wanted to extend the c: partition, it just comes with

the volume you have selected may not be extended
please select another volume and try again

It is a basic disk, running on hardware raid 0-1.

I have requested this file from microsoft, but how long do I have to wait for the reply ? - Do anyone now where I can download this hotfix as I need this hotfix as soon as possible as it have to be ready before monday

So for diskpart to exend the partition, you need to first extend the
disk at the hardware level. Once the os sees empty space after the
partition, then you can use diskpart to extend the partition to uses this
space.
