Partition free space in Vista

I need to add free space to my C: drive.  How would I do this since Vista's disk manager won't let me do it?

So now I have a C: 30gig
D: with 160gig but now 15gig is free space sitting in front of it.  But vista disk management won't let me combine this free space with the C: drive.

How do I add the free space to the C: drive?
