Can anyone tell me why Acronis Disk Director 10 will not let me copy a partition on Windows 2003 Server?

I need to copy a partition to the Server's hard drive from another hard drive. I have already copied the original to a different hard drive for maintenance purposes. I now need to copy the main partition back. Disk Director 10 will not let me copy back even though the partition space is now unallocated. Does anyone have any suggestions?
