Hi, I had a problem on my desktop PC a couple of days ago, which LeeTutor helped me to fix, and that reminded me it was time to do another backup. This used to be a routine thing but I've just moved house and I've neglected it. Last night I tried to use Paragon Drive Backup to to create an image in the Backup Capsule. I was informed by the software that the Backup Capsule did not have enough free space (it contained an old, out-of-date image). I couldn't find a way of deleting the old backup so I tried to create a new backup image, hoping that the new would overwrite the old. I'm not sure what happened, and I'm not sure what file was written, so I decided to delete the Backup Capsule and make a new one and start from scratch. When I deleted the Backup Capsule my machine crashed, and now I get the first Windows screen with the loading progress bar, then I get the screen telling me that Windows cannot load, offering Safe Mode, Last Known working configuration, Start normally. None of these work, and I'm thrown back into the same screen. I've tried to use the Paragon rescue CD I made when I set up my desktop PC (26/12/2007) and I'm informed that the C: drive is unformatted, but it looks like the backup capsule is OK. Maybe I deleted my C; drive by mistake and left the backup Capsule intact. However, when I run the wizard to restore I'm informed that the target drive (C:) is not free. I'm not sure of the integrity of the backup capsule and I don't want to overwrite my C; partition if it can be rescued. My next step is probably irreversible and I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
