PCI Parallel Card Driver

Hello,

After restoring a backup of July, I found that my PCI Parallel card's drivers has been removed. I lost its drivers :(

Is there any way that I can get deriver even if I don't have its CD.

I went to System Information >  Components  > Problem Devices

and found that there are two PCI devices in the list.

1. PCI Serial Port: PCI\ VEN_4348&DEV_5053

2 PCI Simple Communications Controller:   PCI\ VEN_8086&DEV_2E24

Thanks, what I'm seeing now is a device named 'PCI to Parallel' is installed, but the LPT port isn't installed yet.
Okay,

I think this may be the problem: I have 64 bit Windows 7 installed and drivers are for 32 bit Windows.

I tried to find 64 bit drivers but with no success.
Have you run Windows Update, yet?
Worked on the same problem (missing PCI LPT card) with a W7-64 install last weekend.
there's  a bit of confusion; your question talks about a PCI PARALLEL card, and the rest about SERIAL port.
so i would take the card outt, and look for it 's model (printed on it in most cases)
if you post it, we can google it !
The other option, since many cards don't have model numbers, is to look for the larger integrated chips on the card. The primary one should have a model number on it (the processor chip). That is the one you need the drivers for. Google that and you should come up with some answers.
