The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Windows 2000 Users get Blue Screen when trying to access published apps

Reference the thread below to see where I started:

I have successfully rolled back my SP4 upgrade to SP3, and now I am having the original problem I was having after the initial SP4 upgrade.  All of my Windows XP Professional clients can load the Citrix apps through Program Neighborhood successfully, but the Windows 2000 clients only load blank blue backgrounds when they try to load any application.

I've tried updating a 2000 client to the latest ICA32 client software and get the same result.  I can load the applications successfuly from the Windows 2000 Servers hosting the Citrix applications, but not the Professional workstations that need to recieve them.  I already searched Citrix KB and found the following article:

http://support.citrix.com/kb/entry!default.jspa?categoryID=118&externalID=CTX107051&fromSearchPage=true

This does not solve my problem as I do not even have the indicated registry entry in the 2000 registry on the professional machines.  Further, I did make Widows Updates to HALF my 2000 workstations, but ALL of them cannot connect properly.

Help....I have an entrie firm out of business until I get this back up and I'm trying to avoid the $400.00 incident for Citrix support.

James
