I've set up a WIn2003 server with Citrix Access Essentials. The server is defined as a member of a workgroup (no domain involved). During installation I created the Administrator and one other local user, and gave these access via Citrix. Also published a few Office applications.
A few hours after I installed the server (behind a firewall with only port 443 open) I discovered that there were several anonymous users defined under My Computer/Manage/Users and Groups. They all had names like Anonxx where xx was a number from 00 to 14. They all were members of a group called something like "Anonymous users access to server resuurces" (don't have the exaxt words). I found this a bit strange and started to think about some kind of malware. A "Citrix guy" said that the users could have been automatically created by IIS that is used by Access Essentials.
Any comments regarding these anonymous users?
Thanks
Olaf
