Hello Experts,
Our two server PS4.0 farm (both machines Win 2000 Sever SP4) is exhibiting unusual behavior. Both servers are patched thru PSE400W2KR03. Server1 is the License server and hosts the (Access) data store. One problem relates to the Access Suite Console for PS Administration. When that GUI opens up and I click on the Web Interface, click Manage Secure Client Access in the Common Tasks pane and select Display Settings, a Microsoft .NET Framework error appears:
An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Same behavior if I select Edit DMZ settings. I have applied the MMC.EXE.CONFIG fix referenced in previous posts to avoid the .NET 2.0 issue with PS4.0 but to no avail.
On top of this, earlier today I added Server2 to the list of Configured Servers for the published Desktop app (previously limited to Server1 only) in the hope of allowing only those users with knowledge of Server2's IP address to access the Desktop on that machine. Internally, Server1 is 10.10.10.2 and Server2 is 10.10.10.13. Web Interface is installed on both machines but the site is configured only on Server1. Curiously, if a user tries to log in to 10.10.10.2 some (not all) are sent to 10.10.10.13 instead where there is no web interface configured! I can confirm this by trying to browse to 10.10.10.13 which reports The Resource Cannot be Found.
Any help? Thanks in advance
