A frustrating issue here.
I wanted to Shutdown one CAG in a cluster as part of a test.
Foolishly I went ahead and did this assuming I'd still be able to tell it to come back from a remote tool.
However, I now have no idea how to initialize it again! I can't use any remote tool because the appliance is in "shutdown" mode and behaves as if it is not on the network.
Presumably the only possible means is going to be from the console. However, I have no experience with non-Windows operating systems. To make matters worse the screen is blank from the KVM console session. Whether this is a problem with the KVM or if the server is not viewable I don't know.
If I run discovery from the Access Management Console on the AAC, it finds the server (no idea how if it's not contactable over IP)
So the server is powered on, but is in a mode that means it might as well be powered off - and I have no idea how to get it online again!
