We are a charity and to be honest, we are playing with the Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 software, as we have been advised that this software is the best application to use for Remote Access by our staff.
We have installed the software on one of our servers and all works fine within the office. However, when trying to access the applications from outside the office, we get the following error message "Cannot connect to the citrix presentation server. There is no citrix presentation server configured on the specified address".
The Citrix server that we have is within our office network and we have a Checkpoint firewall connecting the office to our broadband connection. We have one outside static IP address that we want to use. I have installed an SSL certificate on the server and programmed the firewall to forward port 443 and port 80 traffic to the Citrix server. All works well with bringing up the web interface page and logging on. It is only when we try to open a published application that we get this message. However, within the office, all works perfectly.
All advice on where we can look that can solve this problem would be gratefully received
