When trying to access my Citrix server from outside my network I receive the message: "Cannot connect to the Citrix Presentation Server. There is no Citrix Presentation Server configured on the specified address." I am able to log into the Citrix Server but when I try to access a published application that I receive the error above. If I try to access it internally or connected via a VPN I can run the apps fine. I am trying to set it up so that some users at another location outside of the network can access it without the use of a VPN. I have a Cisco ASA 5505 firewall with an external ip address forwarded to the internal address of the Citrix box.
You need to configure an alternate address or configure address translations in the Access Management Console. You can find all of this info in the Administrators Guide.
I have configured an alternate address in the management console. The thing that I have not done is to purchase a FDN for this and set that up. Is there any way to set this up without an FDN and just use an external ip address.
