I have inherited a Citrix PS2 farm consisting of 2 servers. This farm has 20 odd users that have been using it for years. A user reported a problem to me with her profile, if she logged onto Server2 she had all her settings, if she logged onto Server1 she had nothing. Seemed pretty simple to me, i figured the terminal server profile wasnt being loaded on logon (due to permissions or something) and she was being forced to use a local profile. This is what is happening, the problem is i have been working all morning to fix it with no luck.
I have even setup a new user with a new TS profile path and logged onto to the published desktop, and to my surpirse it created a local profile, and not the TS one i asked for in AD.
I've also tried setting a path to a roaming profile for this user, that didnt work either.
There is a user group called Citrix Users, this is what all the users that use Citrix are in. This is what the published desktop users for authentication, i added my user to this group.
There is something that i am missing here, i'm not an expert at Citrix. Any help would be great, thanks.
