Can anyone explain the difference between ICA keep-alive and session reliability?

Can anyone explain the difference between ICA keep-alive and session reliability? It seems these 2 settings are doing the same thing? I have read documentation but still can't figure the difference other than ICA Keep Alive being configurable at the Farm or Server level. If at all possible please dont point me to hyperlinks, i just need a quick ;Tthis is the difference'.
