Hi All,
We are running Citrix PS4 Adv on Windows 2003 Servers. We have an Application, App1, running on one of these servers.
There are actually two versions of the app running, App1a and App1b. They are published in different locations on the server.
When a user attempts to launch App1a or App1b, the application attempts to write to the registry. If the user has Admin rights to the entire server (e.g. part of local admin group, Domain Admin etc), then both apps can be launched after each other. If the user is 'standard', i.e a member of the Remote Desktop Users group, then the application cannot launch.
I've given Rem. Desktop Users Full Control to the keys (and even the level up) but this doesn't seem to make a difference....any ideas?
Keys are;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR
E\Classes\
CLSID\{143
DB6BC-41E5
-11D4-955A
-00105A48F
FCB}\InPro
cServer32
and
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{
143DB6BC-4
1E5-11D4-9
55A-00105A
48FFCB}\In
ProcServer
32
I've also given Remote desktop users Ful Control at the CLSID level, as mentioned..
Any ideas?...
Thanks.
