Yes, I agree, CutePDF is stable, free, and works well in every TS/Citrix environment I have tried. Here is a trick, you can even have users load the same setup on their side, then, print to the autocreated CuteWriter. The file save dialog box occurs on their end and reduces confusion finding local file structures.
On the other hand, often you will want them to save in the server's environment so that would make a difference.

Hey Mark, we've incorporated CutePDF Writer (Freeware) http://www.cutepdf.com/pro ducts/cute pdf/Writer .asp into our base image, it's on over 500+ workstations and works like a charm.
Our ticket requests for Acrobat came to a halt.
