The Solution Rating System
|
|
| With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site. If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support. Thank you! |

Asked by Jay5990 in Citrix, Apple Laptop, Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard)
Only read this top portion is you need to know what environment I'm in - question below
One domain controller/file server, two terminal servers/citrix servers, one exchange server. All the servers are running windows server 2003 32bit, all the workstations are running windows xp pro. Citirx is setup with a farm and applcations are published to users desktops. It's setup so at anytime the users will connect to one of the terminal servers and they have a roaming terminal services profile for load balancing. The option for concurrent connections is turned on so they can only connect with one session to save on citrix licenses.
Question-
I have client for java enabled on the citrix web interface and I put a tick next to SSL\TLS under client for java properties. Everything worked fine for a week until I rebooted all my servers after applying Microsoft updates. Then I started having problems with the citrix IMA service. All users were connecting to only one terminal server and the web interface was down. Do you think this could have been caused by putting a tick next to SSL\TLS under the client for java properties. I unchecked SSL\TLS and then fixed the problem with the citrix IMA service but I don't know if I check SSL\TLS again if I will have problems with the citrix IMA service again. I need to connect to the citrix web interface on a macbook using safari. Is there anything I need to do on my citrix servers before I check SSL\TLS again? I was told this needed to be checked in order to use citrix web interface on a macbook with safari.
