The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Program Neighborhood Agent Server URL, Where Is It Stored

Asked by baytex_it in Citrix

We're building a new WI server and once it's live we would like to be able to change all of our users PNA to point to the new server.  I'm trying it on a test machine, but I can't seem to find where the Server URL value is stored.  I've removed the client completely from the test machine, gone into the registry and deleted every mention of Citrix, and removed the users local profile.  I then reinstall the client (10.2), as the local administrator, it asks for the server url, I type in the new server reboot the machine and log back in as the local admin, the PNA shows the correct address.  I logout and login with a user account and check the address and it still shows the old address.  Where is it getting this information from?  As I said I removed all registry information even referring to citrix and deleted the users local profile.  Is the information stored in the profile?  I would be grateful to anyone who could tell me where the Server URL setting for the PNA is stored.

I also just noticed something else that's very strange, I made a regular user a local admin on the test machine so I could install the client with their account to see if it made a difference, but when I launch the client installed, it launches an install for the web-only client.  If I launch the exact same file as the local admin I get full client install where I can select which components I want to install (web, pn, pna).  What the heck is going on?

Thanks
