Browse All TopicsHi,
When you first try to copy a file from citrix to the local drive I believe you are asked by windows to deny or accept. |If deny is choosen I believe it makes a registry change of some kind to not allow any further copying of files from citrix to the local machine. Is this tru? If so, can somebody please advise me how I can overwrite this.
Thanks

Sorry, the "Program Neighboorhood Connection Center" in your system tray. The square with the red circle in it. Double-click this icon, then click the button for "File Security". Set appropriate access, and 'Ok' back out. I can't recall if you need to disconnect/reconnect for the change to take effect.
This info is stored in a .ini file located under c:\documents and settings\username\ICAClien
look in the file "webica.ini" and you can modify the value of "GlobalSecurityAccess" to change the security level.
405 means give the server Full Access.
404 is Read Access.
403 is No Access.

Hi, I think the issue is on all pcs that this citrix user logs into. This probably means the webica.ini file wont help? I cant change the file security in the connection center as it is greyed out on all profiles - is there a way to change it through the console management system? or woyuld there be a webica file on the citrix server or something similar?

When connected, Open your connection center, go to File Security, choose the level you deem appropriate.
