Question

Thinstation & Citrix Implementation

Asked by: bullhog

Hello,
I am trying to get a Thinstation distro working in my office. I want this to connect to my Citrix presentation server (4.5).

My problem is that i cannot seem to get the "thinstation.conf.user" configured right so that my thinstation will connect to an application.

I want my session to connect to an application set on my farm. My farm consists of only one server. When i connect with the current code, it says "cannot get address for application'Citrix Access Essentials"
In my code, session 1 remote desktops my citrix server. Why does this happen?

Thanks for the help

Just for the internets reference, i have come up with a session config that works most of the time for thinstation to presentation server 4.5. Obviously, change the ICA_SERVER line (dont forget port... i think defaults are either 80 or 8001) I am still working on this config... but maybe someone might be able to answer this. In the line "application_set", can the application name have spaces?
