Thanks for the reply.
No luck I'm afraid but worth a shot.
It's starting to look like the only way out of this is to flatten the entire OS and rebuild; something I don't really want to do!

Browse All TopicsHi,
I have a small XenApp 5 farm running under Windows 2008 32bit.
All was going well and I decided to update to Feature Release 2. Big mistake.
Everything failed. No users can connect to the farm in any way, shape or form. Via web interface or agent. I now want to remove XenApp and reinstall but I can't!
I just get "Installation ended prematurely because of an error".
That's it. Nothing else. Event ID 11729 are logged and if I run an uninstall via command line with the CTX_MF_FORCE_SUBSYSTEM_UNI
I've generated a log file and 3 errors are reported that I can see. I've stuck them in the Code box
I am now completely boned and need the help of you good people!
Thanks,
Wullie

My bet is that a re-install the OS is a much quicker way to get your users online, then troubleshooting this issue (ie open a support case at Citrix). The error is not documented at Citrix.
