Cannot Print to PDF in Citrix "Interactive services dialog detection" pops up on File and Print Server
Hi There,
When a user prints in their Citrix Session the Print Server receives the print job and on the 2008 Print Server the Dialogue box "Interactive Services Detection" is displayed, on the 2003 Print Server the Printed PDF is displayed. This issue has only occurred since we upgraded the Citrix desktop client.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Our Environment is as Follows:
Workstation: Windows XP SP3
Workstation Citrix Version: Citrix Online Plugin Web 112
Citrix Server:Server 2003 R2 STD, Citrix Presentation Server 4
Print Servers: Server 2008 R2 STD &Â Server Server 2003 R2 STD
Printer: FinePrint pdfFactory 3.52
Thanks
Knight Frank

As an alternative you can disable the service. Look for "interactive Services" and set it to manual or disabled. This should stop the error from appearing. It seems to be as a result of printer drivers.

It sounds like the Printers are connecting directly to the Print Server, and not via Client mapping? This can be configured through a policy. On WAN links it is recommended, but it sounds like this is causing an issue if it is set

knightfrank,
How did you "resolve" it on your own?
I'm having the same issue.
