you mean separate xml for A&B and separate xml server for C&D right? if then not possible in single farm, you need to go for two farms to split the servers, For 4 servers one xml brokers is ok to configure in single farm.
Not really sure what you are asking. Since you list the OS as Server 2008, I am going to assume you are using XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2008.

The XML Broker Service is installed on every XA5 server and you cannot and should not change that.

If you are talking about in Web Interface, can you specify which XA5 servers to use as the XML Brokers for authentication, yes you can. You can list from 1 up to as many as you want (don't remember if there was a practical limit). But the more XML Brokers you list in WI, the longer WI waits for timeouts before finding a working XML Broker.

Let us say the timeout is 30 seconds and you list 4 XML Brokers and the first 3 are unavailable, it will be 90+ seconds before the last, working, XML Broker is contacted.

I hope this answers your question.

Thank you Carl and Sekar for your reply.

@Carl: Where that setting is. I am having both 5.0 and 6.5 environment.

Is it possible to do that in both?

Thanks
In Web Interface, in Farm Settings.

In XA65, a server can be a controller or not. Only Controllers will have the XML Broker installed.

I no longer have WI or XA65 in my lab right now so I can't be more specific on the wording but you can find it all explained in a very detailed article I wrote.

I understood that, But My question is we have four servers A,B,C,D and two XML brokers X and Y. I want X to enumerate applications from A and B, and Y to enumerate applications from C and D. Is this possible?
