VNC to remotely log into workstation

Hi there

Recently I saw one of the vendor who provide support to our company using VNC software so that when I click onto something like: http://websiteaddress/assist.exe, I will then download the program and then from there I can select who is the one that can loginto my computer remotely without any configuration, even it bypass our firewall.

I just wonder if anyone use the VNC to do it, please show me. It woulld highly appreciate
