PCAnywhere V11: Unable to attach to specified device

I checked some of the articles and solutions at this forum but none of them are helpful.
I was tryingt connect remotely with PCAnywhere v11 to a static ip address but failed. I disabled all of firewalls on the host and checked the setting on PCAnywhere on the host and the remote but still communication error: pcanywhere unable to attach to specified device. What else should I do?
